Harm van Sleen

I am a Dutch musician trying to cram as many different musical activities into my schedule as possible: teaching bass and classical guitar at a music school, playing bass, pedal steel, and other instruments with many different artists, fronting my own band, writing songs, getting several articles published in bass magazines, recording solo albums at home. I only regret that there isn't more time to do all this stuff. Also contributed to the first Bruce Hornsby cover album.

I've always loved "Night on the Town", and the fact that Bruce did so many different arrangements of this song. This version is closer to the acoustic solo version, but in this version I changed the rhythm to 7/8 time, added a weird interlude to illustrate the violence in the lyrics, and replaced the piano part with an acoustic guitar.

Credits: Harm van Sleen, acoustic guitar, slide guitar, percussion, electric piano, bass guitar, vocals, engineer.
