Mary Cockshoot
I have been a Bruce fan since 9/11/86 when I first saw him here in Denver. I was very fortunate with having the opportunity to see him perform 8 times this year. I know Bruce likes to intertwine songs with other songs so that's what I attempted to do. "Attempted" being the key word. I picked measures from songs that I thought would complement each other. When I saw Bruce's performance of "Imagine" by John Lennon for the Arthur Ashe tribute, it brought me to tears. I was very touched by it so that's why I included it in my medley. I could play until I'm 105 and never play at Bruce's level but he is truly my idol and inspiration. The songs go: Song C - Imagine - Bach Goldberg Variation - Song F - Harbor Lights - Song C.
